Gangster School – Satu Hati, Berani Mati

Nedumaran Elangovan

My late grandfather was a Tamil school headmaster (god bless his soul). His school, SJKT Kota Bharu was located deep inside an estate near Gopeng, Perak. This was during the 60s and 70s mind you. This was the time when the only way out from the cycle of poverty was education. Children went to school to learn, cycling for 10 km, through estate roads, come rain or shine. They cared about education. They knew what they had to do. And they did achieve success.

Being the educationist that he was, if he had take one look at the Indian students of today, it would have broken his heart beyond repair. One quick search on Facebook reveals a sorry sight for Indians. Tons of pages dedicated to idiotic gangs. And the members are all Indian school boys. Some even have school names associated with the gangs.

What we think Indian school kids are like

HOT – Gadis India Yang Terlampau

Durai Mama

Read more…

Tamil Schools : Moving Forward

Ruban

This is just an idea that has been going through my head for some time now. On how to not only preserve tamil schools and Tamil language in Malaysia, but allow it to grow and be a catalyst of change among our younger generation.

I always believe that we are hindered by the way we think and operate. Always inside the box. We need to shift the way we think.

My idea is this:

Slowly make all tamil schools as evening schools. Start like sekolah Agama. After 1 pm.Than Tamil Schools can really play the role of changing our society.Day time, all the indian students attend national schools or even chinese schools.Evening, let them go to tamil schools until atleast 6 or even 7 PM.

Here we can not only help them learn tamil, but act as a tuition centre to go through their homework and help them with maths and science and so much more. This would ensure that our kids get all the help that they can get to ensure that they come out as outstanding students.disney jumpers for sale

We can than rope in volunteers from Institution of Higher education to conduct motivational classes, get coaches to help out with extras such as karate or football.

Bring in Indian professionals who genuinely want to help and expose our kids to a life that many of them might not have seen. We can incorporate these sort of meet our people who went through hardship but made something out of their lifes session once a month or so.

Why not even bring hardcore former criminals who learned their lessons in life and expose our students to what waits in store for those who think its cool to be in gangs and stuff.

Lets break this cycle and expose our kids to an alternate world that many of them might not have seen in their entire life. The world that Middle Class Indians have embraced and are doing really well in?We can also conduct religious educational classes, the real stuff, for parents who want their kids to get some basic knowledge, regardless what religion they are etc etc. Bring in Devaram, Kelas Mengaji, Bible Study groups. Kepada kaum India dan pihak berkuasa Malaysia

Vin Kumar

I think the title got your attention. Now, let me start.

Thaipusam is celebrated by Hindus (especially the Tamil community) to pay vows made to Lord Muruga (mainly) and other Hindu gods. It is one of Malaysia’s biggest attractions. Foreigners love the thaipusam atmosphere as they can see thousands of devotees fullfilling their vows by carrying milk pots, kavadis, getting pierced with belled hooks, etc.

(Continue to read it, I got my points coming up.)

Thaipusam brings good business to the Malaysian Tourism sector. It also brings a good name to our country as people worldwide talk about Thaipusam celebrated in Malaysia.

On the eve of Thaipusam, the Chariot procession takes place from the Amman temple in Lebuh Ampang until Batu Caves.

Hundreds of free- refreshment stalls are put up along the long journey for the devotees and walkers so that they can carry on their journey. Sometimes, there are even bare-footed devotees walking. Thaipusam is the only Hindu celebration I celebrate. So, it’s meaningful to me.

But from what I have seen since my first experience in KL Thaipusam is only 40%  of devotees. The balance 60% are punks who should not live. I don’t care of their families. These punks should be shot dead. Read more…

The Message From Bahau

Nedumaran Elangovan

“Bang, neenge jokka, puriyere mathiri sonningee!  Anaa, ennaku government  & DAP yethe pethi pesarange ne puriyelee bang!”

“Bro, you told me something that I could easily understand! But, I don’t know what Government and DAP is talking about bro!”

A reader of this blog messaged me in FB on Saturday. This guy seems to be quite young, I guess not more than 20 years old. He is from a town in Negri Sembilan, and looking at his profile, his family seems to be the semi-rural middle income Indian family .

Most likely, (with no disrespect) his parents are not professionals (in terms of career), and their main source of information is from the mainstream media. I don’t think that, they would have  heard about the key issues that are being fought over by the government and the opposition, as these issues is never discussed in the mainstream media inflatable water slide.

In any other case, this teen would have become the poster boy of the Pemuda/Putera groups. From rural Malaysia, brainwashed by the media and worshipping the ‘youth leaders’ who actually are balls carriers of the organization heads.

Thanks to the internet though, this kid did see the world from a different point of view, and he did seek clarification when he didn’t understand.

Below, I have summarized some issues that we don’t see the any pejuang bangsa 1Malaysia talking about. These are not the only issues, but these are key issues, that I have never seen any pro-Putera bloggers talking about.

For you, brother from Bahau:

1.       National Feedlot Company Scandal (NFC)

Who: Government Minister and family.

What: Government give money (RM 250 million) for rearing of cows for meat, but they use for personal use, including paying for personal credit card, purchase of Mercedes and luxury apartments.

How will it affect you: The money is tax you or your family members paid. Unggal appa ode kaasu, yevan-yevano enjoy pannelama?

Last time, Indian people say “padikathi..poi maadu mei!”. Nowadays, maadu keepers also become jutawan

2.       1Care Healthcare Scheme Read more…

Unity brings dumb and dumber together.

Ruban Stop trying to unite a race. Be it uniting the Malay race or uniting the Indian race or uniting the Penan race for the matter. When humans gather in a group of like minded peers, they collectively behave stupidly. They become dumber. The idea that they will work together and pull resources and progress forward when they are among their peers is a myth. An overblown  myth. Let there be diversity. Let there be opposing camps.  Let there be different ideas. Let there be people who disagree. After all, no one is right all the time and no one group knows whats best for all of us all the time. Diversity of thoughts, ideas, believes and goals among a social group is strength. This diversity is what would push us to work and strive for excellence. harder. This is what that would bring genuine progress. Not sitting together with like minded idiots slapping each others backs, thinking there is strength in numbers.disney jumpers for sale

” Enna Macha, Mutteya? Amma Mamme, ni eppedi? Nannu Periya Mutte thaaaaaa!”

This rule applies to all aspects in life, including politics cheap water slides. Make no mistake. BN is doing all that it is doing today not because of any other reason. Its because the dissenting voice is getting bigger. Read more…

The Angry Indian Man and Thaipusam

Nedumaran Elangovan

'Konjem Sanja, Muruganee Vithe Yeppam Vittheruvange Evenenge'- actual words of an Indian uncle standing next to me.

Okay, lets us forget about the banners, the cut out and the huge ass garland. Pihak penulis tidak mahu memberi komen tentang pekara tersebut kerana, mungkin disalah tafsir oleh sesetengah pihak sebagai coretan ejen pembangkang, yang ingin menimbulkan huru-hara.

I was in Batu Caves (BC) last night, way up to 6 am this morning. Not to pray, I have to admit, I was there to support some family members who were paying their vows.

The first thing that greeting me was the blaring sounds of air-horns. For 2 fucking kilometers, all I can hear is the irritating sound of the horn, and machas screaming. Confirms my theory that most macha’s that show up during Thaipusam, are attention whores who think irritating people is cool.

This horn made me feel like killing somebody

Then there was this punk wig, WTF? Whats this? Attam 100 Vagai Concert? Ok, now Im going off topic. My anger today is not towards these idiots, but towards someone way higher. The so called temple management committee.chong qi you yong chi

Dear Sirs,

You have been in the committee for how long? As far as I know, you people have been there, sitting on your raised platform (now aircon glass building), shouting

‘Puchong, Taman Anggama-vin Parratai ke gavanam, unggel patti Tangamaa jamban kitte nikkerange ungalkage”

Ok, I have to admit, managing a million people is not an easy task, but you did have a long time to practice, didn’t you?  And you have a whole year to prepare, with millions of Ringgit to spare.

And still, every year, it the same old bullshit. Mismanaged crowds, terrible facilities, garbage and incompetent management. Here is something that I have noticed, and here is some suggestions.

Stall/Booth Placement

No stall should be allowed to operate along the main entrance leading to the stair as this causes congestion, removing stalls will allow more space for visitors to walk and breathe.

Yes, there will be people saying,

‘Tamilan business kedukera pakkeriya? Nambe edam kudekelati, vereh yaar nambe makkal ke opportunity kudupa?”.

I say, go ahead give the business to the small business owners, who needs your stupid fun-fair? Scrap you funfair, and you have space for another 50 businesses. Don’t tell me the funfair towkey is Indian now.

Don’t allow non religious, or community related booths in the temple grounds. Ok, I understand MC Mama Jama Puma needs this opportunity, to promote his album ‘Kathi Mel Ratham, Kattil Mel Porattam”. But he can do the same outside the grounds, right? Another space is made available for our small business owner. Read more…

Intellectuals and Bigots: Siapakah Anda?

Nedumaran Elangovan

I have found myself reading more and more of MIC blogs, ever since the USM bomber Jaana’s case (Highlighted by brother Durai in RagedIndian). To be frank, I never bothered reading any Indian blogs (except Ragedindian). I came across this particular blog ‘Youths Intellectual Mind’. Reading a few articles, and I felt so much pity for this young writer. So smart and full of vigor, but been brainwashed and turned into a political bigot.

Here you see a typical pro-BN hate vendor, following the template of many other ‘pejuang’ blogs. Micro issues being blown out of proportion and no mega issues being stated.

The first thing I thought of is that, why is the writer so bigoted? Bigot, but still calling himself intellectual? What happened to the voice of reason? Aren’t intellects supposed to be open to constructive criticism, argument and rebut their skeptics with facts? That’s what I believe, but why does this intellect have a closed commenting system on his blog? Why are only comments that are positive being approved by the penulis? Then you come up saying that most comments are politically motivated and are harassing you.

IMG 1: I imagine this is the writers ‘intellectual’ logic. Read more…
